Peace through language exchange!

I’m David Powell. I lived in Russia and Ukraine at a time, when Ukrainians travelled freely to Russia and Russians to Ukraine for debating, Model United Nations and other projects. We were friends.

 

I am starting a process with my language books whereby Ukrainian and Russian speakers can give free lessons to each other and others and people can learn Russian and Ukrainian. It is in my interest that both countries succeed. My time spent living in both countries was some of the happiest in my life. Let us preserve all the languages in both countries!

Borders are often a problem for people that don’t have the money for travel or visas to both countries. I would like both Russia and Ukraine to be rich countries so that all people in both countries can freely travel to both countries as during the days when we were friends. This is my vision for 2046: let us preserve all the languages in both countries and start making friends now! I am also starting a process for people from Ukraine to meet abroad and for people from Russia abroad to meet up in case there is ever a crisis in each country and so that both countries can survive and there is peace.

Let there be peace now and let’s start meeting up to make friends and start language exchange now.
